To get to Helligvær, the high-speed boat is the only mode of transport.
The boat operates several departures daily with good connections to and from Bodø, and the journey takes approximately one hour. Tickets can be purchased onboard, via website Reisnordland.no or at the Sentrumsterminalen. We recommend using the journey planner for

Day trip to Helligvær
Take the express boat from Bodø city center and embark on an exciting tour of the stunning Væran archipelago. Væran is a collective term for the island communities outside Bodø, including Helligvær. You can choose to complete the full tour or hop off on one of the islands to explore at your own pace.
During the trip, you’ll have the opportunity to visit the following islands: Landegode, Vokkøy, Helligvær, and Givær.
